Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro 5G is a smartphone that runs on Android 14, HyperOS. It was released on 2024, May 23. Performance and Software
Like always, raw horsepower is one of the headlining features of the new POCO smartphone. The F6 Pro runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2based on TSMC’s 4nm process. It’s the star from 2023 with a prime Cortex X3 core running at 3.2 GHz and an Adreno 740 GPU.
Complementing the powerful chipset, there’s up to 16GB of super-fast LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 memory. POCO has advertised the “Liquid Cool 4.0” tech inside the F6 Pro that claims to be up to 3x more effective than a traditional vapor chamber. Design and Display
The POCO F6 Pro is simply a Redmi K70 rebrand so the design language is pretty much the same. There’s a rectangular island at the back housing three cameras while the selfie cam is present in the hole-punch cutout on the front. Unlike the regular F6, the pro version ships with a glass back and metal frame giving it a more premium feel and heft.
The phone’s front features a 6.67-inch WQHD+ screen with an AMOLED panel. It can refresh up to 120Hz with a touch sampling rate of 2160Hz and high 3840Hz PWM Dimming. Since it’s a 12-bit panel, there are over 68 billion colors and it covers the wider P3 gamut. Finally, the peak brightness is also impressive at 4000 nits while the entire screen can go up to 1200 nits in the high brightness mode.
Camera and the Rest
In the optics department, the F6 Pro comes with three cameras on the back. The primary shooter here is a 50MP Omnivision Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS. Auxiliary lenses include an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera. Similarly, you get a 16MP selfie cam on the front.
